The word "Sunderban" has been derived from “sundari” and “ban”, which, when combined, means "the forests of sundari"-an obvious reference to the large mangrove trees reffered here as a symbol of beauty. The stretch of 1,330 sq km area of Sunderbans was established as a National Park on May 4, 1984. The Sunderbans had before been popularly designated as a Tiger Reserve in December 1973. After this, a wildlife sanctuary was coined in 1977, adding to the attractive vigor.
The Sunderbans form the largest Tiger Reserve and National Park, a pride in India. A paradise for birdlovers, the list includes such rare species as the Masked Finfoot, Mangrove Pitta and the Mangrove Whistler. |

| The Sunderbans are a part of the world's largest delta formed by the concurrent migration of the mighty rivers Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna, situated on the lower end of the Gangetic plain West Bengal.The same is also the world's largest estuarine forest. The Sunderbans is criss-crossed by hundreds distributories of the mighty rivers. It is one of the most attractive and enduring places remaining on earth, a truly undiscovered paradise. |

• Early morning group will start journey by private coach to Gadhkhali.
• Upon arrival at Gadhkhali we get into the motor boat for Sajnekhali.
• On arrival check into the resort at noon,after lunch proceed for creeks till 06.00pm and then back to the hotel for overnight stay. |

• After breakfast we proceed to jungle area and watch Tower, Doubanki than back to resort for lunch, after lunch we proceed towards Kolkata while enjoying beauty of sunderban surrounding |
